Requirements and guidelines for returning academic dress after the completion of the convocation session
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
Graduates are required to return the academic dress in
good, clean and dry condition together with the graduate card
after completing their respective convocation session.

Bilik Jubah Utama, DTSP according to the date and time stipulated by the University as follows.
A penalty will be imposed in the event of loss of the graduate card or damage to the academic dress.

A late return penalty for academic dress will be imposed starting
7th December 2026 (Monday) at a rate of
RM20.00 per day until the maximum rate stipulated is reached.
For loss of or damage to the graduate card, a penalty of
RM15.00 will be imposed.
Payment can be made through
ePayment (epayment.usm.my)

Graduates are required to present the
academic dress collection e-slip
during the academic dress return process.

Only graduates who have returned the academic dress and graduate card and settled all applicable payments, where relevant, will be permitted to collect their degree scroll and academic transcript.

post/courier
is NOT PERMITTED.

The University reserves the right to take appropriate action against
any graduate who fails to comply with the requirements governing the use
of academic dress as stated in these guidelines.
